Setting up Let's encrypt SSL certificates

You can configure a free multi domain SSL certificate issued by Let's encrypt by following the steps outlined below. The certificate issuing process must validate ownership of the subject domain. NodeChef handles this validation process on your behalf if you have correctly configured and validated your domain from the NodeChef dashboard

Let'sencrypt SSL certificates expires after 90 days. The NodeChef platform automaticalluy renews certificates 10 days before the expiration date.

After you have successfully deployed your app. Navigate to the Task Manager and click on App actions → SSL Settings

Enter the list of domains you wish to secure. Seperate each domain on a new line and click the save changes button. If the process completes successfully. The progress indicator will display a message similar to what is shown below in the image. Should the domain validation fail, review the error message displayed and make the appropriate changes or contact support.
