Point-in-time database restore

Point-in-time recovery (PITR) allows you to restore or recover your data from a time in the past. NodeChef manages the low level process on your behalf. You only specify the time in the past from the dashboard.

You can only specify a time in the past no later than 4 days from the current time. This is because NodeChef only keeps your backups for no longer than 4 days.

To perform a PITR, navigate to the Task Manager → PGDB Actions → Backups & Restore. Use the slider to select the date and time and click on the Begin Restore button.
